Today we are bringing that data to you instead. The GetMentioned MCP server is live, which means you can connect GetMentioned directly to Claude Desktop, Cursor, or ChatGPT and simply ask about your visibility, in plain language, right inside the tools you already work in.
What is MCP
MCP, or the Model Context Protocol, is a standard way for AI assistants to connect to outside tools and data. When you connect GetMentioned over MCP, your assistant gains the ability to read your workspace and answer questions using your real numbers, rather than guessing. No new dashboard to learn, no exports to wrangle. You ask, and the answer comes from your actual data.
What your assistant can read
The server exposes read-only access to the core of your workspace:
- Prompts and topics. Which prompts you track, how they are grouped into topics, and how each one is performing.
- Competitors. Your competitive set and how your visibility compares, straight from the benchmarking data.
- Dashboard metrics. Visibility scores, mentions, and trends, the same numbers you see in the app.
Because the answers come from your workspace, you can ask the kinds of questions you would normally dig through the dashboard for, and get them in seconds.
Ways to use it
Here is where it gets useful. Because your visibility data now lives inside an assistant that can also help you act on it, a lot of work that used to mean clicking through dashboards becomes a single question.
Prep your weekly update in seconds. Instead of opening the dashboard and assembling numbers by hand, ask "what changed in our visibility this week?" and get a summary you can drop straight into a standup, a Slack channel, or a client email. Since you are already in Claude or ChatGPT, you can ask it to write the update for you in the same breath.
Answer questions in the middle of a meeting. Someone asks how you stack up against a competitor on a key topic. Instead of "let me pull that up later," you ask your assistant right there and have the answer before the conversation moves on.
Investigate a spike or a drop. Mentions jumped, or slipped, and you want to know why. Ask what moved and which sources drove it, then keep digging conversationally until you understand the cause, without clicking through five different views.
Go from insight to action without switching tools. This is the part a dashboard cannot do. Ask which topics you are losing ground on, then ask the same assistant to draft a content outline, a brief, or talking points to close the gap. The finding and the fix happen in one conversation.
Build client-ready reports. For agencies, pull a client's visibility numbers and competitive position, then have your assistant turn them into a clean summary or the skeleton of a deck. What used to be an hour of copy and paste becomes a single prompt.
Bring your data into what you are building. If you work in Cursor, you can pull your GetMentioned data into scripts, internal dashboards, or automations, described in plain language, so your visibility metrics sit alongside the rest of your tooling.
A quick example of the raw exchange underneath all of this. You ask:

Read-only by design
